Overview

Founded in 1966, the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER) is an international organization that represents the interests of institutions of public health education and research in Europe. Its mission is to strengthen the role of public health by improving the quality of education and training, advancing research and scholarship and enhancing public health practice and policy. ASPHER's activities include organizing conferences, promoting collaborations between member institutions, developing accreditation standards for public health education and advocating for public health issues at the European level. The organization has over 100 member institutions from more than 40 countries in Europe and beyond.
