Established in 2006, the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote and develop engineering education in Europe through the establishment and maintenance of accreditation procedures for engineering degree programs. The organization was founded in 2006 and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
ENAEE is responsible for accrediting engineering degree programs in accordance with the European Accreditation of Engineering Programmes (EUR-ACE) framework. The EUR-ACE framework was developed by ENAEE in collaboration with the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI) and is designed to ensure that engineering degree programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
ENAEE is composed of national accreditation agencies and associations, engineering professional organizations and higher education institutions. Its main objectives include promoting the exchange of good practices in engineering education and enhancing the mobility of engineering graduates throughout Europe.
