Established in 1992, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is a government ministry responsible for overseeing and implementing policies related to education, science, culture and sport in Georgia.
The ministry's primary mission is to provide quality education to all Georgians, from early childhood through tertiary education. This includes developing and implementing curriculum frameworks, providing teacher training and ensuring access to education for all students, regardless of background or ability.
The ministry is also responsible for promoting and developing policies related to science, technology and innovation. This includes supporting research and development activities, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and promoting the use of technology to improve the quality of life for Georgians.
In addition, the ministry is responsible for promoting and preserving Georgian culture, including supporting cultural events and festivals, protecting cultural heritage sites and promoting Georgian cultural traditions and values.
The ministry also plays a role in promoting and developing sports in Georgia, including providing support for national sports teams and facilitating participation in international sporting events.
Considering all this, according to ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia plays a vital role in promoting the economic, social and cultural development of Georgia, ensuring access to quality education and training, promoting scientific and technological innovation, preserving Georgian culture and traditions and promoting the development of sports in the country.
