Founded in 1867, the Hochschule Mittweida (Mittweida University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Mittweida (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Saxony. Students are required to open a German bank account immediately after their arrival, as the monthly accommodation loan will be deducted from this account. Additionally, a deposit (e.g., 2 monthly loans) must be paid, which will be refunded at the end of the stay if the room is left without damages and in a clean condition.
