Established in 2002, the Ontario Tech University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Oshawa (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of Ontario, Ontario Tech University (UOIT) is a medium-sized (¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ enrollment range: 8,000-8,999 students) coeducational Canadian higher education institution.
